William B. Hogg
Bill graduated from Norwell high school and Manchester College. After college, Bill returned home and farmed for nearly 30 years. During much of that time, he also worked at the Bluffton Post Office, first as a rural substitute and then as a full-time rural mail carrier. Bill graduated magna cum laude from Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis. While in law school, Bill was a member of the Indiana Law Review and the Dean’s Tutorial Society, and clerked for the Honorable James S. Kirsch of the Indiana Court of Appeals. This past spring, Bill worked for the Honorable S.K. Reid of the Marion County Superior Court on a multi-million dollar environmental damage case.
Bill has moved back to the family farmhouse where he lives with his wife Judy, an R.N. They have two adult sons, John, an optometrist in Seattle, WA, and Peter, a fourth-year medical student at I.U. Bill is active in his church, serving on the church board, leading the Pastoral Relations Committee and the youth groups, and teaching Sunday School. Bill has been a two-term delegate to General Synod and currently serves on the Sri Lanka Mission Partnership and the U.S. NGO Forum for Sri Lanka.

Justin R. Wall
Justin graduated from Huntington North High School with the Indiana Academic Honors Diploma. After high school, he attended Purdue University at Fort Wayne and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. After completing his engineering degree, Justin attended Indiana University at Fort Wayne and completed graduate business school and received his M.B.A. He is also a graduate of the Huntington Leadership Academy. Justin moved away from Huntington to attend law school and graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law with a concentration in Intellectual Property. Besides practicing in the general law area, Justin is also a Registered Patent Attorney and can draft utility and design patent applications, trademarks, and copyrights.
Before moving away to attend law school, Justin was involved in numerous community activities in Huntington. He was President of the Huntington Exchange Club, board member of Cancer Services for Huntington, a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and also served on the Huntington Vision-In-Progress. Justin in addition, ran for Huntington County Council. Justin has recently returned to Huntington after completing law school and lives in rural Huntington with his wife, Cynthia, and is looking forward to becoming involved again with various organizations and projects in Huntington.

Kathy Ley, Paralegal
Kathy has worked as a paralegal at this location for the past eight years, having assisted Attorneys Max W. Garwood, Jeremy A. Clark, Marla S. Brinkman, and Attorneys Hogg and Wall. She received the necessary training from International Business College, Ivy Tech State College, and also from several years of on-the-job experience at the Huntington County Courthouse. While there, Kathy worked as a legal assistant/clerk in both the Superior Court office for Judge Heffelfinger and in the Clerk’s Office. Kathy gained much experience in docketing Court proceedings, including small claims, civil cases, and criminal matters, and also assisted in the Courtroom with Court reporting duties and the processing of criminals after sentencing. While working as an assistant in the Clerk’s office, Kathy’s main focus was on traffic violations and criminal violations. Kathy is involved in all aspects of paralegal work at Hogg & Wall, and she specializes in collection work.
Kathy is married to Wayne, who is the Assistant Manager at Salamonie Reservoir, and they reside in rural Huntington County on the reservoir property. They are the parents of three adult children, Aaron, Andrew, and Allissa,

Lesa Scott, Legal Assistant
Lesa has worked as a legal assistant at this location for the past two years, having assisted Attorneys Max W. Garwood, Marla S. Brinkman, and Attorneys Hogg & Wall. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Huntington University in 1990. Prior to working in the firm, she worked in Judge Heffelfinger’s office docketing Court proceedings. Lesa is involved in all aspects of assisting the attorneys, but specializes in bankruptcy petitions.
Married to Bob, a certified boilermaker, they have a total of five adult children and eight grandchildren. Bob and Lesa currently attend Union Church. Lesa’s hobbies include, sewing, painting, and crafts of any kind.

Cris DeArmond, Legal Assistant
Cris began working for Hogg & Wall Associates in April, 2009 as a
Legal Assistant with a focus on collections. Previously, she
has been employed by Wayne Metals, LLC as a Customer Service
Representative, Fort Wayne Toyota, Lexus as a Billing Specialist,
Mike Anderson Chevrolet as an Administrative Assistant/Sales
Associate, and Ossian Elementary as a Teacher Assistant/Media
Specialist. All of these experiences provided Cris with
excellent relational and clerical skills, which prepared her well
for her current position.
Cris is a native of Wells County and has lived in the northern
Indiana region most of her life. A graduate of Bluffton
High School, she has three children; Amanda is attending graduate
school at Indiana University, Jared is enrolled as an undergraduate
at Ivy Tech, and Daniel is entering his senior year at Norwell High
School.
